This album consists of bhajans sung by her during her only visit to the United States in 1997. As is customary in the spiritual tradition of India, bhajans are meant to invoke the presence and blessings of the One Spirit, or God, in various aspects.
Accompanying the selections are various Indian instruments, including harmonium, tabla, sarod, flute, violin, bells, cymbals, conch, surmandal, and tanpura. Also includes an accompanying booklet with the lyrics in Sanskrit, Bengali, and Hindi with English translation.
